One of Twenty20's newest client additions has just created one of our most intriguing strategic and creative challenges.
Breedersales.com, a website that is scheduled to be officially launched later in the year, is set to become a popular online destination for breeders and primary producers. The site has been designed to appeal to anyone looking to breed or sell animals, as well as those seeking genetic breeding material and services for horses, cattle, sheep and alpacas. The site's offering will be unique in Australia and thus needed a brandmark that was equally revolutionary.
But how to visually brand such a technical offering? Taking the brief, Twenty20 developed a new look that broke the mould of traditional agricultural solutions and deliberately avoided farming and country Australian cliches. In addition we sought to establish a brandmark that would be contemporary and forward thinking yet at the same time be approachable and not take itself too seriously.
The solution merges two visual elements, the first being an 'arrow' representing the functionality of the website and the second, a 'sperm' to denoting the breeding content and subject matter. This unlikely pairing results in a look that's visually strong and impacting, while remaining corporate and professional. The memorability of this distinctive new look will greatly assist Breedersales.com as they progress to a fully functioned 'live' website shortly.
Twenty20 has also recently signed an Outsourcing agreement with Breedersales, and Kate Messenger will head up the team to manage the marketing of the business until such time as Breedersales is fully launched and generating site traffic. We are currently working on the development of further marketing collateral and will share these with you shortly.
